Maruti Udyog wins AIMA event

New Delhi, Aug. 28

Maruti Udyog Ltd bagged the first prize in the Grand Finale of the 32nd National Competition for Young Managers (NCYM) organised by All Indian Management Association (AIMA) on Saturday. The theme of the event was `Strategies for Building Sustainable Indian Brands' where MICO Jaipur and Grasim Cement secured the second and third position respectively. Four regional rounds in Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai and New Delhi preceded the grand finale of NCYM. The winning team will present the background paper for AIMA's flagship event National Management Convention (NMC) in October.

Other teams that participated in the event included those from Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Tata Steel, Indian Hotels Company Ltd, NTPC Vindyachal and Madura Garments.
