Tokens for passport applicants

Hyderabad, Aug. 29

The Regional Passport Office (RPO), Hyderabad, will start issuing tokens for submission of passport applications from September 1, 2006. The number of acceptance counters would be increased from 10 to 12 for customer convenience. There would be separate counters for Tatkal and Miscellaneous applications.

About 560 tokens would be issued for general applications, 100 for Tatkal and 160 for Miscellaneous services. The tokens, in a different colour for each service, would be issued from 7 a.m. on all working days, according to a press release.
