Juniper Networks enhances OS

Our Bureau

Bangalore, Aug. 29

Juniper Networks announced enhancements to its ScreenOS 5.4, its operating system for firewall and Virtual Private Network appliances.

ScreenOS 5.4 gives customers new tools to battle emerging content security threats such as Unified Threat Management (UTM) security features, captive redirect and policy-based routing.

The new ScreenOS policy-based routing capability allows network administrators to define security policies that will complement existing firewall or virtual private network protection and traffic analysis capabilities.
