CCS Info bags Atomic Energy Dept order

CCS Infotech Ltd, a Chennai-based IT solution provider, on Thursday announced receiving orders worth Rs 1 crore from the Department of Atomic Energy and the prototype fast breeder reactor project, Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Ltd (Bhavini), Kalpakkam.

Mr H. Ratna Kumar, Director, CCS Infotech, was quoted in a release as saying that this order would give the company an opportunity to provide services to the government sector, and would help get more orders in the future. The company was also quoted as saying that it is expecting more orders both in Government and public sectors this year.

The company recorded a turnover of Rs 59.27 crore for the financial year ended March 2005-06, said the release. Similarly, the first quarter of 2006-07 saw the company record growth of more than 9 per cent to Rs 13.41 crore (Rs 12.23 crore) and a net profit growth of 74 per cent in the same quarter to Rs 1.18 crore (Rs 0.67 crore).
