@home, the retail venture of the Rs 500-crore Nilkamal Group, opened its store in Bangalore on Friday.

The 33,000 sq ft home furniture, furnishing and accessories store is the seventh in the country and the company plans to take the number to 12 by the year-end and about 35 in the next three years.

"The retail division of the company has so far invested about Rs 20 crore in the venture and plans to invest another Rs 75 crore by 2009," Mr Manish Parekh, Director, Nilkamal Plastics said.
