Shobhana Bhartia is ABC chief

Ms Shobhana Bhartia, Vice-Chairperson and Editorial Director of HT Media Ltd, has been elected as the new Chairperson of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) for 2006-07. She has been a member of the council of management of ABC since 1999 and Deputy Chairperson for the year 2005-06.

Mr Anil Kapoor, MD and CEO, FCB Ulka Advertising Pvt Ltd, has been elected as the Deputy Chairman of ABC. Mr Prem Mehta, Lintas India Pvt Ltd, is the Honorary Secretary and Mr Sam Balsara, Madison Communication Pvt Ltd, is the Honorary Treasurer for 2006-07.
