Opinion - Letters
Vacant Govt posts

This is with reference to "Over 4 lakh Govt posts vacant" (Business Line, August 30): This is shocking. Why has the government not taken steps to fill up vacancies? That too, when unemployment is a serious concern for our graduates. The Constitution guarantees employment, but the Government is not serious about implementing it.

It is unethical for MPs to be seeking salary hikes, when unemployed graduates are suffering for lack of political will.

S. A. Alagarsamy
