PAC's performance guarantee is a global certificate and can be used by any company across any country.

Bangalore , Sept. 3

Skills assessment company Professional Aptitude Council (PAC) has announced a five-year performance guarantee for its candidates. The PAC five-year Global Surety Guarantee will ensure that every person that a member company hires using the PAC exam will perform as predicted for at least five years.

Announcing this at a press conference here, Ms Pratima Amonkar, Director of Business, PAC India, said, "Because of the high cost of hiring, training and retaining employees, companies feel the need to hire the right person the first time." And, hiring right will always mean better performance and job satisfaction, which translates into long-term employment.

Saving time & money

In addition to performance guarantee, companies are also looking for a standardisation in assessing workforce so that their performance may be predicted, she said. "They can be sure that the hired people will perform in a particular manner. In other words, fitment is promised." PAC's performance guarantee is a global certificate and can be used by any company across any country.

While the IT industry demands about 70 per cent correlation between any assessment exam results and job performance, the PAC exam guarantees 93.62 per cent correlation. "To achieve this the company has conducted reliability tests to 20,000 candidates abroad and 45,000 in India," Ms Amonkar said.

Launching the five-year performance guarantee certification, Mr M.A.A. Fatmi, Minister for State, HRD, said that this tool would be useful for recruiters to get the right people for the job. "It will help save a lot of time, money and training," he said.
