The Hindu Business Line : Solix, Sierra partner for archiving solution

Technology firms Solix Technologies, Inc, and Sierra Atlantic on Tuesday announced a global partnership to provide an archiving solution that supports Oracle Process Manufacturing. With this, Sierra Atlantic becomes a global systems integrator for Solix Technologies, responsible for marketing and system integration of the Solix ARCHIVEjinni unified platform archiving solution.

Sierra Atlantic has been involved with Oracle Process Manufacturing for several years. They form part of the Oracle's development partners.

According to Oracle, the combined expertise of Solix and Sierra will be of great value to the process manufacturing industry. Storage costs can be reduced and enterprises can more easily comply with the stringent and complex regulations that they face in manufacturing pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, chemicals and paint industries.

The Vice President of Solix, Mr Burt Salop, in a statement said, "the expertise Sierra Atlantic has with Oracle Process Manufacturing applications makes them a perfect partner for Solix. Their installed base of customers has a pent up need for archiving."
