New Director-General for CBDT

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has a new Director-General, International Tax, in Mr G.C. Srivastava. Mr Srivastava, who was earlier Chief Commissioner of Income-Tax in Delhi, would also oversee issues relating to transfer pricing, a CBDT spokesperson confirmed. He has taken charge from Mr B.M.Singh, who has now been posted as a Chief Commissioner of Income-Tax in Delhi.
