Cambridge Tech builds reusable frameworks

"These reusable frameworks are deployed on the services oriented architecture, which uses the existing library and builds on the intellectual property (IP)".

Hyderabad , Sept. 6

Cambridge Technology Enterprises Ltd, a Hyderabad-based business transformation solutions provider, has developed reusable frameworks that can be used for faster deployment of enterprise technology solutions.

The company has plans to set up its own facility, create a library and development centre, three research labs, and is close to finalising an acquisition.

Deployed in SOA

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CTE, Mr Bhaskar Panigrahi, told Business Line that business transformation solutions call for rapid deployment of solutions.

These reusable frameworks are deployed on the services oriented architecture (SoA) which uses the existing library and builds on the intellectual property (IP) and empowers enterprises to deploy solutions faster, he said.

Citing a Gartner study, Mr Panigrahi said more than 60 per cent of the $527 billion IT professional services market will be based on the exploitation of SoA and Web standards and technologies, which save on time and resources and are faster to deploy.

Expansion plans

The company, which has a development-cum-support centre in Hyderabad, is planning to expand operations and setting up a Oracle Fusion lab, and is also expecting to finalise an acquisition in the fourth quarter (October-December), he said.

Referring to their solutions in the life sciences arena, he said that the company was instrumental in helping a life sciences company to transform.

The company, which was initially funded by International Business Capital Corporation, is set to hit the market soon, aimed at raising funds to part fund its expansion and acquisitions plans.
