Training course in recruiting

Nextgen Academy has launched a "Recruiting Professional" training programme for graduates and MBAs at two centres in the city.

Counselling for this course will start from September 11 and classes from September 18.

CURRICULUM

NextGen focuses on curriculum that is rich in strong fundamentals and on-the-job training. With experience gained from both the US and Indian recruiting industry, the curricula has been prepared.

"A graduate can walk-in to Nextgen as fresher and leave us after three months as a professional recruiter," according to Mr Raghu Kankanala, Director.

INAUGURATION

Dr C.S. Rao, Advisor (IT), State Government, and Dr Parakala Prabhakar, Director, Centre for Public Policy Studies, inaugurated the course at a functionon Thursday.

The demand for people is high in IT and other booming sectors such as retail, telecom, textiles and the recruitment industry itself. Therefore, the hirers are being hired first, a press release said.
