NILGIRI TAHRS amidst `neelakurinji' (Strobilanthes kunthiana) shrubs in bloom at the Eravikulam National Park, Munnar, Kerala. `Neelakurinji' blooms once in 12 years and the plant dies a year later. The Eravikulam park houses 704 Nilgiri tahrs.
