Chennai, Sept. 11

Water Expo 2006, a three-day seminar on water and wastewater management, will be held from September 14 -16 at Chennai Trade Centre. The event will have four aspects - an exhibition showcasing water management-related technologies and products, a conference, a workshop on membrane and reverse osmosis technologies and a site visit to factories to see the implementation of water management technology. Issues concerning desalination, rainwater harvesting, distillation, seawater treatment and packaged drinking water will be discussed at the conference. The expo is being organised by Water Today, an organisation that provides platforms for discussions on water solutions. — Our Bureau
