Prof Pylee felicitated

Dr M.V. Pylee, former Vice-Chancellor of the Cochin University, was felicitated by S. Chand and Company for his being awarded Padma Bhushan. Eminent personalities such as Dr Francis Cherunilam, Director, Albertian Institute of Management; Mr P. Vivekanandan, Author of S Chands' Higher Secondary Physics; Mr Navin Joshi, General Manager, S. Chand Group of companies; were among those present at the function. Prof Pylee was the Founder Director of the School of Management of the Cochin University. The Union Government has appointed him as the National Research Professor. Prof Pylee has authored books like India's Constitution and Constitutional Government in India, and were both published by S. Chand and Company.
