UTI AMC in talks with SHGs

The UTI Asset Management Company is in discussions with the self-help groups in Kerala such as Kudumbasree to bring them under the newly- launched micro pension scheme of UTI AMC. Mr Premkumar Nayar, Vice-President, UTI AMC, who was here in connection with the Kerala launch of UTI Wealth Builder Fund, said that the company is looking at potential sectors in the State for the pension scheme as it is getting encouraging response throughout the country. He said that UTI Wealth Builder Fund is a close-ended equity scheme with a maturity period of five years with automatic conversion into an open-ended scheme upon maturity. The units, with a face value of Rs 10, are open for purchase till October 11.
