Entrepreneurship training programme

Madurai, Sept. 14

The MADITSSIA Business Information Centre (BIC) is organising an "Entrepreneurship Training Programme for the Unemployed Youths" on September 23.

The programme will provide details on potential opportunities available in the Madurai district, self-employment, loan schemes, machinery details, investment, marketing and export procedures etc.

A team of technocrats and industrialists are participating in the programme as resource persons. A fee of Rs 50 is charged as registration fee, according to a press release.

An employment cell is established in the BIC for providing employment opportunities to unemployed persons/students. Those who have passed 10th, +2, ITI, Diploma, Engineering, Arts and Science graduates can register the names with BIC with their bio-data and photo. Placement will be given to them through small-scale industries according to their qualification and experience. No fees/charges will be collected for this registration, the release further added.
