Ghaziabad-based Micromatic Grinding Technologies (MGT), manufacturer of high-precision grinding machines announced on Thursday that it would inaugurate the first fully air-conditioned machine tool plant in the country.

Built with an investment of Rs 25 crore, the plant would be the first machine tool plant in India to be fully air-conditioned and takes the total manufacturing capacity of the company to more than one lakh square feet, according to a company release.

The new plant would allow MGT to have a better control on the quality of the high precision grinding machines. The plant would be formally inaugurated by Mr Pawan Munjal of Hero Honda on Friday. MGT is part of the Rs 500 crore AceMicromatic Group.
