Mangalore airport gets info system

Mangalore, Sept. 15

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has implemented the Airport Information Management System (AIMS) at Mangalore airport. Speaking at the `Engineers Day' celebration in Mangalore airport on Friday, Mr N.B. Mathur, General Manager (Information Technology), AAI, said that AIMS would help in bringing standardisation in the management of airports in the country. Mangalore is the 14th airport in the country to get the facility. He said that AIMS would be implemented in eight other airports soon.
