`Hindi Fortnight' observed

Thiruvananthapuram, Sept 17

The regional office of Punjab National Bank here observed a `Hindi Fortnight' from September 1. Staff members from various branches in the city took part in commemorative competitions in essay writing, elocution, poetry recitation and `rajbhasha' quiz. The valedictory function was held on September 14 (Thursday). Mr T. S. Panicker, Senior Regional Manager, presided, while Dr P. Latha, Reader, Department of Hindi, Government Women's College, Thiruvananthapuram, was the chief guest.
