Shares of Voltamp Transformers Ltd were listed at Rs 399, 15.65 per cent premium to the issue price of Rs 345 on the BSE. The shares witnessed an intra-day high at Rs 430.90 before closing at Rs 417.05 on the exchange. "The debut of Voltamp Transformers has been excellent and in line with our expectation. The premium of 15 per cent, given the pressure markets faced in the morning is great," said Mr Ravindra Kasliwals, Head-Equity, Inventure Growth and Securities Ltd. The company offered 48,83,840 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each. The issue was oversubscribed 17.65 times.
Rama Newsprint
The stock of Rama Newsprint relisted today at Rs 11.12 on the BSE. The stock was trading at the upper circuit limit through the day. Trading in the company's stock was temporarily discontinued since July 21 on account of corporate restructuring involving reduction of share capital to Rs 58 crore from Rs 232 crore earlier. "Investors should wait for the stock to reach its real value. Shares of the company is a good hold considering demand growth in the sector,'' said Mr Rohan Gupta, an analyst tracking paper sector for Emkay Shares and Stock Brokers.
