Hardware Precision Tech opens Chennai centre Our Bureau
Chennai , Sept. 22 Precision Techserve, a technology company and part of the Rs 150 crore Chennai-based Precision Group, inaugurated its Global Competency Centre in the city to provide Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) support services. The company has invested Rs 6 crore in facility, said its founder, director and CEO Mr P. Ramesh. Shasun Chemicals is the first client to be offered the RIM services, which includes monitoring firewall and virtual private network from Precision's facility. Revenue from Shasun would be Rs 24 lakh a year, he told newspersons. The new facility, for which the company raised debt from Canara Bank, would initially have about 30 employees. The number of employees would go up to 300 in six months, he said. By 2008-09 Precision Techserve expects revenue of around Rs 200 crore from Rs 25 crore now.
