Pharma advisory body to meet today

To discuss issues of minimum retail price inclusive of all taxes and bilingual labels for pharma industry, the Pharma Advisory Forum is meeting in the Capital on Saturday, under the Chairmanship of the Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers, Mr Ram Vilas Paswan.

Other issues that will be discussed include trade margins, schemes for families below poverty line, consumer awareness of drug prices, launching of antiretroviral drugs by the public sector undertakings in the pharmaceutical sector, launching of 24-hour help line on drug prices and the role of drug controllers and the State Governments in monitoring drug prices.
