Hutch completes 6 months in Kerala

Hutch has completed six months of its service in Kerala, establishing its service network in over 500 towns across the State. Its GPRS-enabled network allows the subscriber to access emails and Internet while on the move, besides allowing to download the latest ringtones, video tones, wallpapers etc. Mr K. Sankara Narayanan, Chief Operating Officer, Hutchinson Essar South Ltd, said this is a significant milestone for the company. Since the launch in March, Hutch has been continuously gaining both market share and customers rapidly, making Hutch a service provider of choice for over 6 lakh subscribers. Since its launch in the State, it has more than doubled its coverage and capacity. Its extensive network provides seamless coverage on the State and national highways besides the rail routes. It has also redefined the distribution landscape in the cellular industry through its unique concept of Hutch shops and Hutch tele shops.
