Our Bureau

Thiruvananthapuram , Sept. 26

Google India has announced Google Wordmasters 2006, a creative writing contest to identify the country's top English writing talent. The contest entails stringing together a randomly generated list of words in a logical and grammatically correct topic of choice. "Google Wordmasters is the first-of-its-kind creative writing contest. This demonstrates the value Google places on recognising and rewarding talent across all skill sets," said Mr Roy Gilbert, Director Online Sales and Operations, Google India. The contest is open to participants nationally and will be held on Saturday (September 30) across 10 cities in the country. Relevant information can be found at www.google.co.in/Wordmasters.
