To drive collaborative innovation

Pune , Sept. 26

Software services and BPO organisation Zensar Technologies has announced its alliance with techTribe Networks, a collaboration platform to connect tech innovators, based in San Francisco and New Delhi.

Zensar already uses its Global Delivery Platform (GDP) to enable professionals to collaborate on software solution delivery remotely, by connecting through its innovation hubs in Pune and Hyderabad. Now, it will leverage techTribe platform to encourage its employees to collaborate with others in the tech community. Zensar's GDP community will now be hosted on techTribe platform, said Mr Diip Ittyera, Principal Innovation Evangelist. Zensar is also extending the reach of its alliance with techTribe by registering students at the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) with which it has collaboration on its GDP platform.

techTribe hopes to use its connect2Develop (c2D) methodology to get Indian professionals in the software and services space to join with like-minded people around the world to form `tribes' and collaborate on innovative solutions.

"India's future position in the global information technology landscape depends on the ability of the workforce to innovate. Education outreach projects by companies are critical to this success,'' said Mr Rohit Agarwal, Chairman and CEO, techTribe.

A week after it announced its operations, the company has already recorded 80 operational tribes that are working on various innovation projects on its network, Mr Agarwal said.

"I expect at least 200 tribes from Zensar on techTribe in the next few months,'' Mr Ganesh Natarajan, Deputy Chairman and Managing Director, said.
