Kochi, Sept 27

All employees of Syndicate Bank will join the strike on October 3 in support of the ongoing indefinite strike by the employees of Lord Krishna Bank (LKB), according to Mr K.S. Bhat, All-India Secretary, Syndicate Bank Staff Association, an affiliate of NOBW and BMS.

In a release, he said that the ongoing agitation of LKB employees was not for monetary or financial benefits. "Hence, we feel that joining the strike as a mark of solidarity for a genuine cause would be welcomed by all employees of the bank and also banking clientele."
