Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Gegong Apang recently turned a press meet in the capital into a lecture on the geography of his State following a slip of the tongue by Union Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde.

Speaking earlier at the event, Shinde first referred to Arunachal Pradesh as "Arunachalam", before correcting himself. Apang, who spoke later, responded to the faux pas with a dig at the lack of awareness about his State among most people, claiming that even the Union Minster made a mistake.

While Shinde looked embarrassed, Apang went on to cite several instances when a number of mails meant for his State had gone to Andhra Pradesh (as both the States have `AP' as their acronym) before being routed back.
