Australian Foods (I) Pvt Ltd, an Indo-Australian joint venture and manufacturers of the Cookie Man brand of cookies, has won the `Retail Concept of the year' award at the 3rd annual Images Retail Awards 2006 (IRA), instituted by the Images Group.

The Images `Retail Concept of the Year' Award was received by Mr John Lynch, Managing Director, Australian Foods India Pvt Ltd, at a ceremony in Mumbai.

According to a press release, the award acknowledged the company as being a benchmark in innovative retail concepts. The basis for IRA was industry nominations and performance details through self-nominations that were compiled and assessed by process partner Technopak and tabulated by global business consultant and advisors Ernst & Young.
