ORG Info up on result hopes

ORG Informatics has been gaining strongly in recent times. The stock on Tuesday rose 3.59 per cent to close at Rs 124.20. Trading volumes more than doubled to 3.65-lakh shares against two-week average of 1.6-lakh shares.

According to analysts tracking the company, ORG is expected to show a robust performance for the quarter ended September 30. This is, according to them, on the back of order it got from Bharat Electronics pertaining to Convergent Billing System (CBS) in MTNL. The order relates to services part for CBS in MTNL covering installation and commissioning, annual maintenance and facility management, among others.

ORG Telecom, a 100-per cent subsidiary of the company, bagged a $5-million order from a telecom operator in Tanzania for providing total turnkey solution for a greenfield CDMA network roll-out in Tanzania, Africa. Besides, it has also bagged orders from Wataniya telecom operator in the Maldives.

Market participants also expect a positive announcement from the company on the acquisition front.
