Yemen seeks buyer for gas reserves

HYDERABAD: Yemen is looking for guaranteed buyer for the 17 trillion cubic feet of proven natural gas reserves, according to Mr R. M. Aggarwal, Ambassador-designate of India to Yemen.

Addressing the members of FAPCCI (Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry) here on Wednesday, he said Yemen offered tremendous potential in the areas of tea, coffee, rice, wheat, drugs and pharmaceuticals. After the unification in 1990, there was a significant improvement in economic and commercial activities. He said that President of Yemen was likely to visit India along with a business delegation.
