Bangalore , Oct. 5

Dell's fourth customer contact centre located in Gurgaon is set for rapid expansion to 2,500 employees with the inauguration of its new facility in the near future.

Dell has customer contact centres in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurgaon and Mohali that are part of a 50-site global customer contact network.

Operations in Dell's customer contact centre in Gurgaon began in June this year. The permanent facility is under construction and operations will shift to this facility once completed.

The customer contact centre at Gurgaon is Dell's fourth in the country. Currently, the centre employs around 800 people. In the first phase of operations, this number is expected to grow to around 2,500 employees, said the release issued by the company. The first phase in the new facility will cover an area of around 300,000 sq ft.
