Telecommunications RIM Blackberry on Hutch network too Our Bureau
New Delhi , Oct. 5 Research In Motion (RIM) on Thursday announced plans to launch its premium mobile handset device BlackBerry on the Hutch networks. Blackberry in India was being exclusively sold for Airtel subscribers until now. With the new tie-up, Hutch subscribers can also get Blackberry solution that supports wireless access to e-mail, phone, text messaging, browser, organiser and other mobile applications. In addition to BlackBerry handsets, Hutch will offer BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry Internet Service. For corporate customers, BlackBerry Enterprise Server software tightly integrates with Microsoft Exchange, IBM Lotus Domino and Novell GroupWiseand works with existing enterprise systems. For individuals and smaller businesses, BlackBerry Internet Service allows users to access up to ten corporate and personal e-mail accounts.
