Coimbatore , Oct. 6

Automotive lubricant manufacturer Castrol India Ltd (CIL) has opened a multi-brand motorcycle service centre styled Castrol BikeZone in Coimbatore.

The company, which has 37 Castrol BikeZones in eight cities in the country, including three in Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Tiruchi and Coimbatore) hopes to increase the coverage to 15 cities by the end of 2006.

Mr Parinjay, Business Head, Castrol BikeZone division, in a release, said the opening of the service outlet was an attempt by Castrol to go beyond just lubricants in bike care.

The customers would benefit from the high standards of servicing that would be available in the outlet.

The three-tiered service menu also would spare the customers from any surprises at the time of billing and personalised attention and transparency in service were the core principles of the business. Formula 1 racer Narain Karthikeyan inaugurated the service outlet.
