Madurai , Oct. 11

World Bread Day celebration is being jointly organised by the Madurai District Tiny And Small Scale Industries Association (Maditssia) with Madurai Bakers' Association in the city on October 13 and 14 to create awareness on the usage of bread in food items in the southern districts.

On the occasion, there will be bread display by catering students and bakeries besides cooking contests for housewives and lecture programme on quality control concept in food industry. Mr Joseph Lawerence, Vice-President, Society of Indian Bakers, will inaugurate the exhibition, a press release from Maditssia said.
