Diversification Web Extras - Non-conventional Energy NEPC plans to diversify Our Bureau
Chennai , Oct. 11 NEPC India on Tuesday announced its intention to diversify into two new businesses stair lift and hybrid power system using high voltage batteries, inverters and UPS. In a notification to the BSE, NEPC said that the company had been engaged for over two years in R&D for providing a lift that could be fitted on existing stairs. "The company plans to launch the pilot marketing in the next 30 days," the notification says. It says that the concept of `hybrid power system,' using solar cell, windmill, fuel cell technology is being brought in "for the first time in the world."
NEPC India also plans to create a "full-fledged R&D division." The company expects that this R&D effort will contribute to focus on different and varied business lines to achieve further growth for the benefit of the various stakeholders of the company," the notification says.
