Gati Q1 revenues up 33%

Gati Ltd , the Hyderabad-based express distribution solutions company, has achieved revenue of Rs 133.53 crore in the first quarter ended September 30 against Rs 100.36 crore in the same quarter last year, showing a growth of 33 per cent.

The profit after tax (PAT) grew by 29 per cent to Rs 5.62 crore from Rs 4.37 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, Mr Mahendra Agarwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, said here in a press release on Wednesday. As part of the target to cross the Rs 1,000-crore mark by 2009, the company would invest Rs 450 crore in the next three years, he said. The company also announced a brand makeover on Wednesday.
