Hyderabad, Oct. 11

Satyam Computers has been ranked 15th in the American Society for Training & Development's (ASTD) Fourth BEST Awards programme, which recognises organisational commitment to employee learning.

The Hyderabad-based company is among 39 organisations from India, South Africa and the US to receive the ASTD Best Award, a company press release said here on Wednesday.

In its online survey, ASTD, which is dedicated to workplace learning and performance of professionals, reviewed applications from 78 organisations in seven countries. Mr Raju Asthana, Vice-President, Satyam Learning Centre, here accepted the award in Washington on October 4. Satyam learning initiatives are driven by the Satyam School of Leadership (SSL) and the Satyam Learning Centre (SLC). The SSL offers courses to create entrepreneurial leaders, while the SLC provides high-quality learning for all the associates.
