Hyderabad , Oct. 12

A mobile cancer and heat screening unit from the Yashoda Group of Corporate Hospitals was formally launched today by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

The hospital is planning to drive the mobile unit in a fully equipped bus to different parts of the State and organise free screening for the two diseases which are on the rise - cancer and heart ailments.

Well-known heart and cancer specialists from the hospital would participate in special camps.

"We will go beyond the preventive check-ups, awareness campaigns and treatment under our service beyond hospitals walls", said Dr G. Surender Rao, Executive Director of the Yashoda Group of Hospitals.
