Franklin Templeton buys stake

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has acquired 2.64 per cent stake in India Infoline Ltd for Rs 22.34 crore, the company informed the BSE.

The shares have been purchased from the open market at around Rs 186 per share. The stake of Franklin Templeton Investments in the company has increased to 8.34 per cent post the acquisition from 5.7 per cent earlier.

The total FII holding in the company is put at 13.1 per cent, while that of mutual funds is at 7 per cent.
