Gross bank credit up

Gross bank credit has gone up by Rs 47,216 crore to Rs 16,54,734 crore as on September 29, according to Reserve Bank of India's Weekly Statistical Supplement. It includes food credit, which decreased by Rs 2,938 crore to Rs 33,458 crore and non-food credit, rose by Rs 50,154 crore to Rs 16,21,276 crore.
