To be formally released by the Union Minister of State for Health, Ms Panabaka Lakshmi on October 16, the report will form the basis for the database on the perceptions and practices of different groups of people on food and drug safety. This will, in turn, be used for appropriate interventions with information, education and communications strategies (IEC). The report is titled Knowledge, Attitudes, Beliefs & Practices (KABP) Study on Food and Drug Safety, according to a press release from NIN.
