HSBC `mela' from today

Visakhapatnam, Oct. 15

HSBC is holding its Helping Hands mela - an annual event that brings NGOs across the country to its premises - here from Monday for five days. During the period, HSBC branches invite local NGOs to display their products, according to a press release issued by the company.

The proceeds of the sales will be used for supporting a charitable cause in areas where the NGOs operate. This is the sixth year of the mela and over 100 NGOs are expected to participate in it, says the release. The 41 branches of HSBC and group companies such HSBC Software Development (India) Private Ltd will participate in the mela.
