Alchemist proposes 1:1 bonus issue

The board of directors of Alchemist has proposed a bonus issue of shares in the ratio of 1:1, or one share for every one share held. The board has also approved the interim dividend at 50 per cent, or Rs 0.50 per share for 2005-06.
