Cadila to sell Zonisamide in US

Cadila Healthcare Ltd (Zydus-Cadila) has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration to market Zonisamide capsules in the American market, a company release said on Tuesday. The company will market the drug in the strengths of 25, 50 and 100 mg. The drug falls in the anti-epileptic segment. The company will market the drug through its US-based subsidiary Zydus Pharmaceuticals (USA) Inc. This marks the 17th ANDA approval for the group since the commencement of filing process in the financial year 2003-04.
