ClientLogic to acquire Sitel

ClientLogic Corp, a subsidiary of the $15-billion Canadian Onex Corp, is set to acquire Sitel Corp, a US-based business process outsourcing services provider with significant presence in India. The deal is valued at about $450 million and the merger process is likely to be completed by early 2007, according to information available on Client Logic's Web site.

Sitel employs about 39,000 people worldwide and the combined revenues are around $1.7 billion. Sitel India, a joint venture of Sitel and the Tata group, employs about 3,000 people at three centres.
