TI Cycles enters fitness equipment

TI Cycles of India, part of the over Rs 7,400-crore Murugappa Group, on Tuesday announced its foray into the fitness equipment vertical with the launch of the BSA Workouts range of cardio and strength equipment.

The equipment would be sold through its flagship BSA GO stores and other key dealers. The range would be launched in phases, with the full range being available across the top 20 cities in the country by March 2007. Speaking on the occasion, Mr G. Ramprasad, President, TI Cycles of India, said, "At TI, we have constantly explored ways to innovate through a deep understanding of the evolving and changing needs of today's `fitness-centric' consumers and expand our product portfolio. The new range of fitness equipment is targeted at the fitness conscious urbanites looking to workout at their convenience."
