MobiApps satellite modem

Our Bureau

Bangalore, Oct. 18

MobiApps has introduced a satellite modem for monitoring and tracking mobile assets. The m100 is an ORBCOMM satellite smart modem, which complements its existing m-Trak cellular-based vehicle tracking and logistics system. m100 provides two-way data communication and geo-location using the ORBCOMM low-earth orbit satellite network. It has a built-in GPS receiver, which can be used to track down the cargo anywhere in the world.

Besides tracking, m100 can also be used in security, messaging and monitoring solutions. MobiApps is a US-based wireless communications firm that does most of its development in Bangalore.
