Hyderabad 10K Run on Nov 26

The fourth edition of the Hyderabad 10K Run and Half Marathon will be held on November 26.

The number of participants expected this year would be around 30,000 according to the organisers of the event - Hyderabad 10K Run Foundation. The former All England Champion and National Badminton Coach, Mr Pullela Gopichand, the Run Ambassador, in a detailed presentation highlighted the support for promoting sport in the underprivileged children and relief to retired sportsmen who brought laurels to the country but were in need of medical and financial aid.

REGISTRATION

India Post are registration partners for the Hyderabad 10K Run. One can register at any Post Office in the city or through the postman who delivers letters to them. The Run kit comprising a t-shirt and bib would be delivered by the postman at their door-step, according to a press release.

The registration fee for this year's Run is Rs 200. There are several categories for colleges, housing societies, unions, corporates and individuals. The total prize money to be won has been hiked from Rs 3.5 lakh last year to Rs 15 lakh this year. Registrations will commence soon, the release said.
