Helios Q2 net up at Rs 14.27 cr

Helios & Matheson Information Technology has reported a net profit of Rs 14.27 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006 compared to a net profit of Rs 9.08 crore during the corresponding period last year. This represents an increase of 57 per cent. Revenue for September 2006 quarter was Rs 95.20 crore (Rs 52.80 crore).

A company press release says Credit Suisse has invested $5 million via the greenshoe option at a further premium of $3,841.50 per bond. The Chennai-based IT company had earlier announced the closing of subscription for 2 per cent foreign currency convertible bonds of $20 million out of the total issue size of $25 million, including a greenshoe option of $5 million.
